On 10-28-2020, At approximately 4:30 PM, the Peoples United Bank located at 95 Main Street, New Canaan, CT 06824 was robbed. Two suspects entered the branch. Both wearing a "Gator face covering" Subjects were very aggressive. One subject went behind the teller line and starting opening top drawers, yelling "not enough" and threw the drawers down on the floor. After getting the money he could from the drawers he ordered the employees to lie on the floor. He stated any wrong moves and he will shoot. Employees noticed a gun with blue tape in one of his hands. The subjects exited the branch. Preliminary investigation indicates that subjects are the same as the Fairfield SS robbery on 10/13/2020. No injuries were reported. The Police are investigating.
