On Saturday, 10/29/16 at 09:43 am., the Meriden branch office of Liberty Bank, located at 852 East Main St., Meriden, CT. was robbed by a lone white male subject. The subject entered the branch and proceeded to a check writing desk where he quickly wrote a demand note on the back of a withdrawal slip. The subject walked over to the teller line and handed the note to the first available teller and verbally repeated his demand. The subject was described as a white male, early to mid-twenties, approximately 5’8”, slender build, hazel/light colored eyes and short dirty blond/light brown hair. The subject wore jeans, blue sneakers, a dark hooded sweatshirt and a camouflage baseball cap. The subject was given cash, which he placed inside the front of his shirt. The subject fled on foot. The Meriden Police Department is investigating the robbery. Contact Det. Robison. Case #16-8740.
