Suspect was apprehended shortly after the robbery</p> Case ID 27008 <p>On 04/07/2020 the Windsor Locks Police Department responded to 360 Federal Credit Union in Windsor Locks to investigated a fraud/identity theft case. The suspect opened up an account at a local bank and applied for a $15,000 personal loan, using a fake CT DL. A majority of the withdrawals against this loan occurred at various ATM machines in parts of Harlem and the Bronx. Attempting to ID the female suspect. Ref case 20-3634. Det. Brad Schaffrick, 860-627-4686.</p> Case ID 27005 <p>On 10-28-2020, At approximately 4:30 PM, the Peoples United Bank located at 95 Main Street, New Canaan, CT 06824 was robbed. Two suspects entered the branch. Both wearing a &quot;Gator face covering&quot; Subjects were very aggressive. One subject went behind the teller line and starting opening top drawers, yelling &quot;not enough&quot; and threw the drawers down on the floor. After getting the money he could from the drawers he ordered the employees to lie on the floor. He stated any wrong moves and he will shoot. Employees noticed a gun with blue tape in one of his hands. The subjects exited the branch. Preliminary investigation indicates that subjects are the same as the Fairfield SS robbery on 10/13/2020. No injuries were reported. The suspect, a white, male, wearing a mask, baseball cap, grey shirt with tie and kaki trousers, entered the branch and approached the teller. He handed her a note stating it was a robbery. The teller froze and the subject displayed a barrel of what appeared to be a gun. The teller took all the money from her top drawer and handed it to the subject. The subject exited. A customer asked if the subject just robbed them. They responded yes and the customer then chased after the customer. The alarm was activated. No injuries reported.</p> Case ID 26999 <p>At approximately 11:45am on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 after approaching on foot, a white male, beard, army style hat with pin entered the Waterbury &ldquo;Watertown Avenue&rdquo; branch of Thomaston Savings Bank. He approached a teller with a $100 bill and asked for change. The teller asked if he was a customer and the individual provided the teller with a name. After checking, the teller apologized explaining she couldn&rsquo;t cash the bill since the name given was not in our system. He then handed the teller a note stating this was a &ldquo;robbery&rdquo; with other info written which the teller could not read. The teller complied with the robbery note, handed him cash and after taking back the note and the $100 bill, the individual left on foot. No weapon was displayed and information was received that this individual was suspected in two other store/donut shop robberies on the 10th and 11th. This individual approaches and leaves the target on foot with a getaway vehicle parked on a side street.</p> Case ID 26997 <p>Black male, approximately 5&#39;08&quot;, 220lbs, wearing hat, glasses, with long hair, scruffy beard walked into People&#39;s United bank and approached the teller with a note. The note said &quot;stay calm this is a robbery give me all the loose money no ink packs. After receiving $2900 in an envelope the suspected requested the note back and reached over the counter and took the note from the teller. No further incident.</p> Case ID 26995 <p>The suspect entered the branch and approached the teller. He handed her a yellow envelop with the words, &ldquo;Give me 20&rsquo;s, 50&rsquo;s and 100&rsquo;s. This is a robbery&rdquo;. As the teller was placing money into the envelop, he stated &ldquo;Hurry&rdquo;. No weapon was display or mentioned. The teller placed money in the envelope and handed it back. The subject then left.</p> Case ID 26993 <p>The suspect entered the branch and approached the teller after she finished with a customer. He handed her a yellow envelop and stated, &ldquo;This is a robbery if you don&rsquo;t want to get hurt follow the instructions in the envelope. The instructions inside the envelope said 20&rsquo;s, 50&rsquo;s and 100&rsquo;s. The teller took money from her top drawer and put it in the envelope. The suspect looked inside and exited. No weapon was displayed or alluded to.</p> Case ID 26991 <p>at approximately 12:30 PM today. The subject approached the teller and handed her a note. The subject then left the area.</p> Case ID 26989 <p>On August 24, 2020 Milford Police investigated a bank robbery at People&#39;s Bank located inside stop and shop, 1364 East Town Rd. The Suspect handed the teller a note and asked for the money. No weapon was displayed. The suspect left the scene on foot. The suspect is a white male, wearing a grey cloth mask, and a grey winter hat with a skull in the front. The Connecticut Bankers Association is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the individual responsible for the bank robbery.
