The Wethersfield North branch office of Liberty Bank, located on the Wethersfield-Hartford town line was robbed by a lone white male subject. The subject was believe to be operating a silver passenger van (Honda or Chrysler), as was observed in recorded video. After entering the bank, the subject walked directly to a sit-down teller station. While remaining standing, the subject presented a note, as well as verbally demanding “give me all of your money, I don’t want to shoot you.” As the victim teller began to login to her TCR for cash, the subject demand she stop or he would shoot her, indicating he had a gun with his hands in the front center pocket of a pullover sweatshirt. The victim stopped and instead, removed limited cash and a dye pack from the top of her teller drawer. The subject grabbed the cash/dye pack and fled in the silver van. Total cash stolen, $620.00. Wethersfield PD responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
