At approximately 1435 hrs., 08.24.17 (today) the Bank of America in Newtown (6 Queen St, Newtown CT) was robbed by a single suspect, via a note pass. The suspect, a 63 year old Newtown resident, was apprehended soon after by responding Newtown PD officers, and is now in custody.
