On 7/2/2017, at approximately 12:56 PM, a heavy set African American male wearing a blue hat, blue button up shirt, purple pants, and white shoes, entered the Greens Farms, (Westport), CT store. The suspect approached the teller line and asked to make a deposit. The suspect handed the teller a demand note that read " This is a robbery. I need 15 thousand dollars. No GPS or Dye Pack. I have a gun ". The teller went to his drawer in the drive up room and removed money from the top and bottom drawers. The suspect took the money and the demand note , then fled the store. There were no injuries as a result of this robbery. There was no guard assigned to this location at the time of this robbery. Det. Rocke from the Westport Police is investigating.
