On October 28th, 2016, a Caucasian male wearing a black hooded jacket, yellow reflective vest, jeans, black and gray baseball cap with a cross, gloves, sneakers and sunglasses, entered the Meriden-East Main Street Store. The suspect waited in the line and then approached the teller, handing her a demand note stating she had 30 seconds to put $3,000 in an envelope. The note also stated he had a gun. The teller complied and gave the suspect funds from her top drawer. The suspect took the money and left without further incident. No injuries resulted from this robbery. The Meriden Police are investigating; Sgt. Wagner has been assigned.
