On Friday June 26, 2015 at approximately 5:34PM a lone male subject entered the People's United Bank located at Talcottville Stop & Shop in Vernon, CT brandishing a handgun of an unknown caliber demanding cash. After receiving the cash, the subject fled the branch to an awaiting car in the parking lot. The car was occupied by a second subject. Investigating office is Detective Charles Hicking of the Vernon Police Department.
