On Friday, February 6, 2015, at approximately 5:57 p.m., the Washington Street branch office of Liberty Bank, located at 827 Washington Street, Middletown, CT., was robbed. The lone robber displayed a black semi-auto pistol. The robber was fully disguised, wearing a black overcoat and gray hooded sweatshirt pulled over a black baseball cap, a full black face mask which covered his entire face, except for his eyes and mouth and blue latex gloves under fingerless cloth gloves. The robber fled out the front door on foot. The robber is believed to be the same subject who robbed the Liberty Bank in Durham on 01/23/2015 and has committed several other area bank robberies over the last two months.
