On 06-24-08 at 12:48 pm, the Glastonbury PD received a report of a Robbery at the American Eagle Federal Credit Union located at 109 Sycamore St. Initial information received from interviews, statements given by Credit Union employees and bank surveillance photos and video indicates a White Male with an approximate height of 5'3" tall wearing a navy blue t-shirt with a pocket on the left side, navy blue pants, white tight fitting gloves, dark sunglasses and a dark knit hat entered the credit union holding a white plastic bag. The lone male walked to the teller counter and leaped over the counter. He calmly instructed the tellers to open the drawers. The male took cash from the drawers, including a pack of bait money, jumped back over the counter and fled on foot across the street. The same suspect is believed responsible for a bank robbery on 07/15/08 in Winsted, CT. GPD case# 08-010014.
