Wanted for Bank Robbery in Connecticut:
On Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at approximately 12:46PM, a lone black female wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants robbed the Reidville Drive Stop & Shop branch at 410 Reidville Drive, Waterbury, CT. The suspect was first approached by the welcoming director. The suspect stated that she was at the branch to do a withdrawal and was told to fill out a slip. The suspect then approached the teller and initially passed a withdrawal slip under the counter. Shortly after, the suspect passed a note stating that this was a robbery. The suspect made verbal threats that she had a weapon. However, no weapon was ever observed during the robbery. The suspect took the cash totaling $3836.00 and fled the branch via the front entry of Stop & Shop. The robbery note was left behind and retained by law enforcement. The Waterbury Police Department responded to the robbery. Surveillance photos were provided by People's United Bank Corporate Security.
